Here at Holiday cottages North Wales, we provide self-catering cottages for long or short breaks, our central location makes it easy to access either North or South Wales and all the connecting local towns such as Ruthin, Corwen, Bala, Betws y Coed, and Llangollen. North Wales is an ancient and beautiful place that is steeped in natural beauty and history, language and tradition, there is something for everyone to see and do and enjoy.
Holiday cottages North Wales we have an old farm called Bryn Dreiniog that we have lovingly renovated and its old stone outbuildings and made them into two beautiful cottages that can host between 2 and 6 adults, we furnished both cottages to a five-star standard we succeeded in retaining the traditional stone look on the outside of the cottages and a clean, contemporary look on the inside to make it feel like a home away from home for you so you can sit back and relax for your time away and know you are in the best environment you could be in. On the property, there is a smallholding with a flock of sheep, a horse, and some hens which provide you with free-range eggs, all around the property there is vast fields and woodlands that you can explore at your leisure and many footpaths you can explore that lead to some of the local towns.
There is something for everyone to do around the cottages from mountain and hill walking on the Snowdonian which includes Snowdon the highest mountain in Wales, Cadair and Rhinog and many others, between the mountains, are beautiful valleys which have rushing rivers and streams and the largest natural lake in Wales Llyn Tegid at Bala, there is even fishing half a mile away from the cottages at Derwen fisheries, Brenig Lake and a free fishing pass for a mile of the Upper Dee, for information on what there is to do around the cottages please look on our what to do page.

Bryn Dreiniog is a working smallholding with a flock of sheep, a horse and some hens (which provide free range eggs for you). There are fields you can roam, woodland you can explore and many local public footpaths to walk.

Amazing holiday. Beautiful location. The host could not do enough. The children had a fantastic time. Would defiantly stay again.

The cottage is very well designed and furnished. The location is delightfully rural as it is set on a working farm, but this in no way impinges on your stay.
